Meta's planned Edits Plus subscription would give creators 200GB for their video projects, according to new details reported on October 21. The storage can be used to sync, back up and offload work. But moving between two phones is not necessarily the same as moving between Android and iOS.

Social Media Today reports that Meta's help information describes syncing between iOS devices, or between Android devices. The subscription was previewed earlier; the 200GB allowance and this device detail make the proposal more concrete. A price and general launch date are still absent from the report.
Plan the handoff around the devices you use
Consider a creator who shoots on an Android phone but wants to finish a project on an iPhone. The reported same-platform support does not establish that this handoff will work. Nor does the storage description confirm a desktop editor. These are compatibility questions to settle before relying on cloud projects for a deadline, not claims that we tested either combination.
That is a different job from the reusable style kits in Edits or its iOS carousel-creation tools. They help assemble content. Project storage determines where the work can be kept and picked up again; it does not promise better export quality or more reach after publication.
Turn the headline allowance into a project budget
At an assumed 5GB per project, 200GB would hold 40 projects before any other space requirements. That calculation is only a planning example. We have not measured an Edits project at 5GB, and longer footage, different encoding or retained versions would change the answer.
The general idea of cloud storage is remote access to stored data. It does not settle every editing feature included in a plan. Meta also refers to extra AI usage, but the report supplies no numerical prompt allowance. For a working creator, the useful next information is the actual offer on their account: its price, supported devices and what occupies the storage.
