Reddit’s 2027 marketing planner is out, offering brands a calendar of major US dates and seasonal opportunities for next year. The 35-page guide was reported by Social Media Today on November 4.

Alongside the calendar are shopping insights and notes on engagement in each quarter. That gives a designer or video editor some context for an upcoming commission: the occasion, the audience and the time available to prepare it.
Pick the format while the brief is still open
The guide overview concentrates on planning. To work out what to deliver, turn to the specifications for the placement. On Reddit, an image ad and a free-form post give the same campaign idea very different amounts of space.
The following comparison comes from Reddit’s existing image-ad and free-form ad documentation. These are current production requirements, separate from the new calendar.
Leave time for the crop and preview
Choose the placement before commissioning the photograph. Keep the main subject clear in the required crop, then preview the export where it will appear. For a free-form post, decide which steps need images and which are better explained in text. That is a practical way to turn a date on a calendar into an asset brief.
Seasonal context also shaped our look at Snapchat’s holiday guide. After the creative is ready, campaign setup raises another set of questions, including the tools covered in our report on Reddit’s lead-generation expansion. The calendar helps teams get that preparation started earlier.
